1. INTRODUCTION
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of all applications, software, websites, APIs, and related services (“the Services”) provided by DigitalFreedom, a brand of DigitalFreedom Global LLC (“the Provider”).
This AUP supplements our Terms of Service, EULA and Fair Use Policy. In the event of conflict, the order of precedence in the Legal Framework Overview applies.
By using the Services, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation may result in suspension or termination of access.
1.1 Global scope
The Services are distributed via the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store and are therefore made available in every country and territory those platforms serve. This AUP applies globally to all such users. The Provider adopts the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and related EU law as its baseline standard and applies it as a global floor; any more protective local law of the user’s jurisdiction additionally applies.
2. GENERAL PRINCIPLES
You agree to use the Services:
- Lawfully and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Responsibly and in a manner that does not harm others
- In accordance with the intended purpose of the Services
- Without infringing the rights of third parties
3. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

- Consume excessive resources (bandwidth, storage, compute) beyond fair use as set out in the Fair Use Policy
- Use the Services for cryptocurrency mining without authorization
- Operate open proxies, relays, or anonymization services through the Services
Resource consumption, abnormal usage patterns and presumed misuse are addressed in detail by the Fair Use Policy, which empowers the Provider to throttle, rate-limit, restrict features or suspend access on good-faith suspicion without requiring conclusive proof of violation.
3.6.1 Quantitative limits in DokuAI
DokuAI has no separate feature tiers. A subscription unlocks the full functionality, and the following limits apply to every subscription period (weekly, monthly and annual alike). These limits supplement this AUP without restricting the broader rights under the Fair Use Policy.
| Resource | Limit | Enforcement |
|---|---|---|
| Reports created | 100 per calendar month | Hard limit. The counter resets at the start of each calendar month (UTC). |
| Photos per report | 150 per report | Hard limit. The App refuses further photos and blocks sending a report that exceeds it. |
| Photos per calendar month | 1,000 | Hard limit. Sending is blocked when the report would exceed the remaining monthly allowance. |
| Voice notes | 400 minutes per calendar month | Hard limit. The total recording length is measured when a report is sent. |
The current usage against all three monthly limits is shown in the App under Settings. Limits may be adjusted with prior notice.
3.7 Privacy Violations
You shall not:
- Collect, process, or store personal data in violation of applicable data protection laws
- Engage in surveillance or tracking of individuals without lawful basis
- Dox or publish private information of others without consent
- Violate the privacy rights of minors
4. CONTENT STANDARDS

The Provider reserves the right to:
- Review content for compliance with this AUP
- Remove or disable access to content that violates this AUP
- Report illegal content to law enforcement
4.3 Legal Obligations
Content moderation complies with:
- EU Digital Services Act (DSA) — Regulation (EU) 2022/2065
